Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actor for a long time. The actress is famous for the roles she played in the film industry and on television. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian as well as American television. Emily began to become interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. Her older sister Katie in the film studio. She began taking classes in acting and auditioning after realizing that she loved acting. The first time she auditioned was with small amount of advertisements and then was cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. The only part she had was a silent one. Her debut break came around the age of 15 when she was cast in the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's appearance on the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was also a dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actors under the age of twenty. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the number 51.
